What Advice Do You Have for Future Social Media Marketers?

Never stop learning! Social Media is constantly changing, so that means we have to keep adapting to keep up with it all. And, don’t be too hard on yourself. Social media is important, but its not life-saving surgery. So when mistakes happen, learn from them and move on!

How did you learn what you do? Did you take courses, did someone train you, did you volunteer for businesses to freelance in the past?

I got a degree in digital marketing, and I took Sky Society’s Accelerator course, but honestly most of what I do now I learned from experience of actually putting myself into the working world and trying it! I got my first opportunity at social media management a couple years ago for a recruiting firm’s LinkedIn, ever since then I have been trying to learn as much as possible to improve my skill set.

What are the most fun/What are your favorite categories to make content for?

I love making content for companies that have a founder that is totally down to be in the videos and participate. It makes them stand out, builds trust, and it’s fun to collaborate and make!
