✨ What’s your favorite career resource or hack?
Always keep pursuing knowledge. As marketing professionals, we work in an ever-changing field. It can be challenging to keep up when the next big trend or platform is always lurking. But, there are so many avenues that you can take to learn more about upcoming things in the marketing world or strengthen skills you already have. Sometimes, the eagerness and willingness to continue learning can be more valuable than the experience on paper.
✨ What’s something you wish more women in marketing talked about openly?
I wish more women in marketing talked openly about overcoming imposter syndrome. It can be very hard, especially at the beginning of your marketing career, when you feel like you don’t know enough or aren’t good enough to be in your position. It is a very common thing to experience and feel, but it’s how you let those thoughts motivate you to keep going that’s important. Everyone has felt imposter syndrome in their career. I hope that it’s a conversation that continues amongst marketing girlies because we’re all in this together!
