Each week, Sky Society Accelerator students attend mentor workshops hosted by our Marketing Girly Mentors. Here’s this week’s highlights:

Kelsey Jain - Accenture, Marketing Strategy Consultant

In Kelsey’s workshop “The art of a Good Insight” Workshop, she broke down how the insights drive strong marketing strategy by explaining consumer behavior and uncovering deeper meaning behind actions. A major takeaway was that insights are not just observations, they explain why people behave the way they do. She emphasized that insights come from the tension between what people say they want and what they actually do. The workshop highlighted how powerful insights should feel surprising yet obvious, making people think “that explains everything,” and ultimately helping brands create more meaningful and effective marketing.
