Paige McCloud - Victoria Secret, Manager of Brand Strategy
Paige broke down what fashion marketing is really all about. She highlighted how fast-paced the fashion industry is and emphasized the importance of truly knowing your business by understanding your brand, your products, and the people you're selling to. Paige also shared that strong brand knowledge is the foundation of an effective and successful brand strategy. To break into the fashion industry, it's important to have strong brand knowledge of the companies you want to work for and to confidently advocate for yourself through your creativity.

Katy Land - 1220 Exhibits, Marketing Manager
Katy explored how marketing roles differ across small, medium, and large businesses, and how to identify the environment where you’ll thrive! She reminded us that it is important to understand which kinds of companies align with both you and your strengths. She encouraged us to evaluate roles by listing their top skills and comparing them directly to job responsibilities, while emphasizing that soft skills like curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn often matter more than checking every technical box.
